On Friday 30^th November 2018, some of our Year 8 students were involved in an all-day engineering workshop. This workshop is know as the Faraday Challenge and is run by The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).

The IET Faraday Challenge Days are held at schools and other venues around the UK and have proved to be enormously popular with teachers and students alike. The event itself is in partnership with the Jack Petchey Foundation, and is therefore charity based.

The Faraday Challenge Days give students the opportunity to research, design and make solutions to genuinely tough engineering problems.

The event was set up and run by a team of STEM professionals.
