Redbridge Badminton Championships

On Monday 20th January 2025, Mayfield took four boys to compete in the Redbridge Badminton Championships. Aydin R. (Year 7), Zahid R. (Year 9), Muhammad Ayan A. (Year 7) and Dragos A. (Year 8) competed with some of the borough's best Badminton players. Our first success of the evening came when brothers Aydin and Zahid came out victorious in their first doubles game of the afternoon, winning 11-7. Despite playing against year 9s, our year 7 and 8 students played well beyond their years and represented Mayfield in an extremely positive way.
