Outstanding Science Results at Mayfield School

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the fantastic achievements of our Science students this year. The results reflect the hard work and determination of our students, alongside the dedication, expertise and commitment of our Science team.

At GCSE, our results were exceptionally strong across both Combined Science and the Separate Sciences.

Our Combined Science cohort achieved an impressive positive SISRA SPI of +0.84.

Our Triple Science students also achieved outstanding positive SISRA SPI scores across all three sciences:

• Biology: +1.06
• Chemistry: +1.23
• Physics: +0.99

These are fantastic outcomes and demonstrate the excellent progress our students have made across Science.

We are equally proud of our A Level Science results, with ALPS grades of:

• Biology: 4
• Chemistry: 5
• Physics: 7

These achievements are a testament to the ambition and resilience of our students and the commitment of our teachers in supporting every student to achieve their potential.

A huge congratulations to all our Science students and staff! We are extremely proud of what we have achieved together and look forward to building on this success in the year ahead.
