Medicine Society

Medicine society is a community in which aspiring healthcare professionals come together to learn and experience life within the medical field. Activities that members engage in include debates on ethical dilemmas and current healthcare issues, as well as reviewing hot interview topics, building their critical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills. As the society is funded by Kings College London, students have the opportunity to participate in trips to the medical school, gaining first-hand experience in clinical environments, as well as attending lectures on both medical ethics and student finance talks. Additionally, the society focusses on developing clinical skills helping students prepare for their futures in healthcare and at university.

Economics and Finance Society

The Economics and Finance society is a community where like-minded individuals, who are striving for roles in the finance industry, are put into an atmosphere of encouragement and inspiration. In this society, students are able to exchange knowledge through discussions and debates, by expressing their opinions and viewpoints about economic issues, allowing them to build confidence, courage and the skill of working in a team. Furthermore, they will be given opportunities to go on various trips organised by the school to go to firms and conferences in the finance sector. Overall, this society allows students to gain insight and experience in the field of finance and economics, enabling them to be on the right track for their futures.
