Well, what a successful year it has been for Mayfield's Year 7 Netball team! Not only has it been the first time for some girls playing Netball, but it has also been a first for them having the opportunity to be part of a sports team.

The commitment to training sessions from the squad has been outstanding. They attended practice every Tuesday after school and every Friday lunch time.

Out of nine games that were played, they won eight of them.

This is a tremendous achievement! 

As the season now draws to a close I would strongly recommend that some players join a Netball team in the local area.  I hope that these girls continue to play netball in Year 8, as I am sure it will be another great success for Mayfield.
