Jack Petchey Speak Out sessions
Posted on: 14/02/2020On Thursday 13th February 2020, 54 of our Year 10 students participated in an all-day "Speak Out!" workshop delivered by the Jack Petchey Foundation. Jack Petchey’s “Speak Out” Challenge! is a programme managed and delivered by Speakers Trust, the UK’s leading public speaking organisation and is supported and funded by the Jack Petchey Foundation.
The aim of the challenge is to amplify young people’s voices by building confidence, developing skills, and creating platforms for young people to share their stories and ideas to empower not only themselves but each other.
The top eight Year 10 finalist speakers have been selected for the Final Assembly on Monday 2nd March 2020. These eight speakers will deliver their speeches in assembly and be narrowed down to two speakers who will represent the school at Redbridge's "Speak Out!" Challenge.
