Sam Tarry, the Member of Parliament for Ilford South, visited Mayfield Sixth Form to discuss growing up in Ilford, his journey into Politics, what it’s like to be an MP and answered lots of Questions from the A Level Politics students; questions ranging from local issues, crime, the cost of living crisis and the war in Ukraine.

The students enjoyed listening to his honest and passionate views on Ilford and lots of political matters. We look forward to meeting him again in Westminster soon.
