On Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th June 2023, Mr Capel and Ms Sarkis took the Year 12 Media BTEC students to the Redbridge Drama Centre as part of their coursework.

They spent two days, planning, learning industry equipment, and filming to produce a 20 minute live news show. The media students went out of their comfort zone and even interviewed the public to create a realistic show.

One of the students, Umer, said "Because of this it has opened up my mind and I think this is seriously something I want to pursue; so thank you for that."

It was an absolute pleasure watching the students grow with confidence over the two days and begin exploring the vast possibilities that can come from the Media industry.
