Sports Day 2023
Posted on: 14/07/2023Friday 14th July 2023 was Mayfield's annual Sports Day.
Although this turned out to be a day full of rain, spirits were high and all participants gave it their all. Pupils thoroughly enjoyed themselves and there were some excellent performances from our Steel Pans band.
David Backhouse, Chair of Governors, gave out almost 300 medals and two school records were broken.
Hasib T. in Year 8 took the 600m record with a time of 1.53 and Danthika H. took the Year 9 150m record, with a time of 18.96.
