Year 7 Sportshall Athletics
Posted on: 15/12/2023On Wednesday 13th December 2023 - Mayfield School hosted the Redbridge schools' Year 7 Sportshall athletics event.
Mayfield school opened its Sportshall doors to host a Year 7 Sportshall Athletics event. This is a qualification 'pathway' event whereby potentially all Redbridge secondary schools are invited to contest the top spot to compete in the London School Games finals.
On this occasion we had 16 visiting schools arriving, with 16 Year 7 students selected to compete in the track and field events and over 15 students from years 8-12 acting as Sports Leaders.
