17th - 23rd June 2024 was Refugee Week, and Mayfield took this opportunity to run various workshops in order to celebrate the range of different cultures we have at our school.

One of these workshops saw students create posters to show what "home" means to them. Here is an E-book compilation of those: "Words that bring me Home"

We also had a former student attend as a guest speaker and deliver a very moving assembly, in which she spoke about her life in the UK as a refugee from Afghanistan.
