Over the weekend there was an athletics competition to determine who was the best within the county of Essex.

Mario competed for the U15 and won silver on Saturday with a time of 7.29 seconds in the 60m sprint.
Sunday he competed again and won the gold and broke the championship record in the 200m sprint with a time of 22.96 seconds.

At the end of February he will be competing nationally in Sheffield.
