Our lovely Library Ambassadors, Tahsina (12M3) and Amina, (12M4) organised a Halloween Writing and Art Competition, which was open to all students and members of staff. The judging panel was very pleased with the quality of the nine short stories presented, and everyone enjoyed reading them; therefore, voting was not an easy task, which is always excellent!

However, a winner would have to come out of the dark, and Fiza M. (8M8) has been awarded first place, with her short story 'Cinderella's Last Dance'. The Art category wasn't a walk in the park either, but Navya S. (10M4) has conquered everyone's hearts with her handmade comic tryptic: 'The Grunge Queen'.

A special thank you to all Library Ambassadors for their contribution, especially Tahsina and Amina for coming up with the idea, and Isha (12M2), Muskaan (12M7) and Manasi (12M2) for preparing the prizes and the set-up for the occasion. Our wholehearted appreciation to Mrs Virdee for bravely entering this competition, and Mr Howard for performing some of the writing pieces.
